privacy.md — what this site collects, and why
Privacy, in plain English.
This is a personal portfolio, so it collects very little. There are no ads and no tracking cookies, and I don't sell or share your data. Here's what happens to the small amount of information involved.

contact form
If you send a message, I receive your name, email address, project type and message, plus your company and location if you choose to add them. I use these only to reply to you and to talk about possible work. The message is delivered to my inbox by an email delivery service. I keep enquiries for as long as I need to respond and follow up, and you can ask me to delete yours at any time.
AI assistant
The assistant answers questions about my work. What you type, and the page you're on, is sent to an AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the reply. Please don't enter anything private or sensitive. Answers are generated by AI and can be wrong, so for anything important, use the contact form.
This site doesn't save your conversations itself. To prevent abuse, it briefly counts requests per IP address in temporary memory, and that count isn't kept long term. Anthropic handles the text it receives under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
visit statistics
I use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages get read. It counts page views and records broad details such as the referring site, country and browser type. It doesn't use cookies, and it isn't used to identify you or follow you across other websites.
on your device
This site stores your theme and the size of the terminal panel in your browser's local storage, so they're remembered next time. That information stays on your device, and this site doesn't set cookies.

your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing samueladepoju86@gmail.com. I try to follow the principles of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in the UK and EU, the GDPR.
